About Us

The Centre for Earth Resource Conservation was established in 2021 as a not-for-profit scientific trust for Earth Resource Conservation and Management. Headquartered in Chennai, CERCT aims to accelerate use of modern science and technology in Earth Resource Management and Conservation and allied activities to improve lives and livelihoods of rural communities.

Mission and Vision

Mission:The overall mission is to generate and extend new knowledge, practices of technologies which help in operationalizing the concept of sustainable development that benefits the Earth Resource.

Vision: The Founding Vision of the centre was to "harness Modern Science and Technology for better Earth Resource Management and Conservation"
